Discipleship Team

The Discipleship Team at our church is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a sense of community among our members. This team is responsible for running Small Groups, Men’s & Women’s Ministry, and organizing Discipleship Classes.

Through these efforts, the Discipleship Team aims to deepen the faith of our congregation, encourage meaningful connections, and cultivate a supportive environment for spiritual development.

Volunteer Position on the Discipleship Team

1. Small Group Leader:

      • Facilitate Weekly Meetings: Lead and organize weekly small group gatherings, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
      • Prepare Discussion Materials: Utilize provided study guides and materials to facilitate meaningful discussions.
      • Encourage Participation: Foster a supportive atmosphere where members feel comfortable sharing and engaging.
      • Provide Spiritual Support: Offer prayer, guidance, and encouragement to group members, helping them grow in their faith.
      • Coordinate Activities: Plan group activities, events, and outreach opportunities to build community and serve others.

      2. 1 to 1 Menor:

      • Provide Personalized Support: Meet regularly with mentees to offer guidance, support, and encouragement in their spiritual journey.
      • Set Goals Together: Help mentees set and achieve personal and spiritual growth goals.
      • Share Resources: Recommend books, scriptures, and other resources to aid in their development.
      • Pray Together: Commit to praying with and for your mentee, fostering a deeper spiritual connection.
      • Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure a safe and trusted environment by keeping all shared information confidential.

      3. Men’s Ministry:

      • Event Planning: Organize and coordinate men’s fellowship events, retreats, and activities.
      • Facilitate Meetings: Lead or assist in regular men’s group meetings, including discussions and Bible studies.
      • Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to other men in the church, fostering spiritual growth.
      • Community Outreach: Engage in community service projects and outreach initiatives tailored for men.
      • Promote Engagement: Encourage participation in men’s ministry activities and build a sense of brotherhood within the church community.

      4. Women’s Ministry:

      • Event Planning: Organize and coordinate women’s events, retreats, and activities.
      • Facilitate Meetings: Lead or assist in regular women’s group meetings, including Bible studies and discussions.
      • Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to other women in the church, fostering spiritual and personal growth.
      • Community Outreach: Engage in community service projects and outreach initiatives tailored for women.
      • Promote Engagement: Encourage participation in women’s ministry activities and build a sense of sisterhood within the church community.

      5. Workplace Impact:

      • Networking: Connect with professionals in the church to foster relationships and support.
      • Event Coordination: Plan and organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on integrating faith and work.
      • Mentorship: Provide career guidance and spiritual support to individuals seeking to impact their workplace for Christ.
      • Resource Development: Create or share resources that help Christians live out their faith at work.
      • Community Outreach: Encourage and support workplace evangelism and community service initiatives.
