Men's Ministry

What is this Ministry?

• This is the ministry of our church that reaches out to men in our congregation, encouraging them, building them up, and helping them live into their calling.

What is my commitment? How often? What do I do?

• It depends. Right now the primary expression of this ministry is a class each Sunday, Men’s Fraternity. Ways that you could participate in this ministry might be to help lead the class on Sunday morning, start another Men’s Fraternity class somewhere else, or help to promote this class in the congregation or small groups. Alternatively, this general ministry could grow: Retreats, men’s outings, prayer, etc.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• No training is necessary.

What should I do to get involved? Who do I contact?

• Contact Mark Blair ( markblair(a)bicf.org ) or Alex Nuetah ( alvinuetah(a)yahoo.com ).

Why should I do this ministry?

• God’s plan for men is for them to be strong, courageous leaders, both in their families and in the church and the world. If you feel you have the desire and ability to help build this ministry and reach out to the men in our congregation, please join our team.
