Media

What is this Ministry?

• The media ministry in the church helps prepare promotion materials, banners, booklets, cards, video announcements, brochures and any other published material that can be used in general church activities.

What is my commitment? How often? What do I do?

• Your commitment is to be part of a pool of people that are willing to help with media needs and projects as they come up. For example, if you were part of this ministry, the administrator of the church or perhaps a ministry leader might contact you and ask if you were willing/able to help design a banner for them. If you’re free, your commitment would be to make the banner for them in a timely fashion.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• If this is a ministry that interests you and you have no prior experience, there might be some training available alongside a more experienced volunteer. However, in general, the BICF does not provide the training to be involved in the Media Ministry.

What should I do to get involved? Who do I contact?

• If you’d like to help or be involved with some current projects, please contact the office ( zgc(a)bicf.org ).

Why should I do this ministry?

• Media, banners, brochures, cards, publications, these are often the face that the world sees as they look at the church. If you have experience and would like to bless the church in this crucial, practical skill, don’t hesitate to get involved.
